Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that uses the P-51 Mustang to convince the readers that “North American Aviation sets the Pace”. The ad has a drawing of two members of the ground crew loading fresh .50 caliber machine gun belts onto the wing guns of a P-51. Below this picture is a cutaway schematic that show many of the features that made this plane popular with Allied pilots and an object of fear to the enemy. The ad headline claims that “This Peace Talk Makes Sense”. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
