Description

Kool Cigarette Ad November 1967Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad with an outdoor scene with a tie-in to the Kool Filter King cigarettes. There is a large picture of a out-of-doors scene with woods all around and a wide stream going through the center of it all. There are several mountains behind everything and, it is very hard to find them but, there are a couple walking away from their red station wagon and the woman is saying “This isn’t my day. First I read the road map wrong. Then my cigarette runs out of taste.” The man replies “Everything’s not lost. Try one of my Kools. They taste great.” We can see the two of them in a close-up at the bottom of the page with the man holding his pack of Kool cigarettes while the woman, smiling, reaches in and takes one. The headline there says to “Come up to the Kool taste. Taste extra coolness every time you smoke”.
