Description

Coleman Ad July 1968Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their 3-way Convertible Cooler. The largest picture shows this unit upright at the beach with the tide rolling in behind it and the headline asks you to “Look at this picture of a Coleman Cooler. Now turn it sideways. Then turn it upside down”. The set of lower pictures show it being used as a left-hinge refrigerator, a right-hinge refrigerator and as a cooler with the top lifting off. The text explains that, no matter how you have your campground set up, a Coleman 3-way Convertible will make it work. It talks about the big 68-qt capacity, separate compartment capable of holding a 25-lb block of ice and the same kind of insulation used in $500 refrigerators. With this unit only costing about $30 you are urged to get acquainted with it.
