Description

Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for the Duz Giant Economy Size Laundry Detergent. The ad has three drawings of women who love Duz. The headline states that “For White White Washes Without Red Hands “I’ve Gone Back To Duz!”. There is a drawing of a lady hanging up wash to dry and she says that “I’ve tried some of those no-rinse chemicals, but I’m back to Duz says Mrs. Jack Stanton of Santa Monica, CA. “Duz gives me such beautifully clean, white, sweet-smelling washes – and is ever so kind to my hands.” If no-rinse chemicals are making your hands rough and red – change to Duz for real cleaning power plus wonderful mildness”. The second lady is shown while doing her wash, “My hands are in water so much every day” says Mrs. Harry Wright of Flushing, New York. “I’ve just got to use a soap that not only gets even the grimiest clothes clean in a jiffy, but is mild and easy on my hands as well. That’s why I’ve gone back to Duz for keeps”. The end of the ad says that “I’ve tried some of those No-Rinse Chemicals – but I’m back to Duz! Only Duz of all leading washday products – gives you this concentration of rich, real soap and two active detergents for dazzling clean white washes. Only Duz of all leading washday package soaps – is so kind to your hands, so safe for colors! Yet no soap known gives you a cleaner, sweeter-smelling wash!”
