Description
Full color 8 3/4″ x 12″ wartime ad that quickly discusses the part that Wurlitzer instruments have played in the history of America. The ad has two pictures, one of a Nineteenth Century parlor with a lady playing a piano with a man standing next to her playing a banjo. The other shows a 1940’s living room where a father stands playing a Sax, the mother sits plunking on her piano and the son stands irritating the world with his accordion. The headline for these pictures says “From Oh Susannah to Comin’ in on a wing and a prayer Wurlitzer has played a leading role in making America a musical nation…” and the text touches on the business history of the man. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
