Description
Oldsmobile – Black and white 10″ x 13″ ad that announces “The New Thrill” that you would get as you sat in the driver’s seat of a new Oldsmobile. There is a drawing of a couple sedately driving their Oldsmobile along a two-story bridge where each car seems to have about ten car-lengths worth of room. The ad warns you that you will get the New Thrill “when you slip behind the wheel of a new ’49 Futuramic“. They announced the “revolutionary”Rocket” Engine” and announces “the car that brings tomorrow so much closer…the car whose high-compression smoothness and power make an ordinary road seem like a super-highway”. They even promise you “split-second response to every command”.
