Description

Triumph Ad 1968Full color 7 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ ad has a picture of a new Triumph parked on a well-lit, polished surface with the wall behind it covered with enlarged photos of different features of this model. A handsome young man is smiling as he stands behind the bike holding onto the handlebars and an attractive lady stands behind him with her face smiling upwards, either in awe of the young man and the motorcycle or in gratitude at being in the ad. The headline urges everyone to “Live the Triumph Life” and the text starts by saying that it “takes pride in its performance and good looks”. It continues by quickly mentioning a variety of things that riders are interested in and giving very positive descriptions for them all. It mentions that prices start at $685 and, hidden in the small print at the bottom of the ad, is a list of the models available for 1968.
