Description

Seagram's Whiskey Ad April 1960Full color 10″ x 13″ ad with the headline “Say Seagram’s and be sure”. This ad has the peacefulness that we all want. There is a very still pond with stone sides covered with mossy green and higher up the farther back that it goes. Sitting at the edge of the water is a filled glass, ice and a mixed drink, and the bottle of Seagram’s that was used to fill it. Between the two of these is a large 7 that is wearing a crown. These items are casting a reflection in the pond. The ad calls it “Reflections of perfection”. It then says that “The deeply satisfying flavor of 7 Crown is itself a reflection of integrity, of craftsmanship, of tradition. Tonight, let a drink or two of 7 Crown demonstrate what perfection means in a whiskey”.
