Description
Full color 13 1/2″ x 10″ ad for their Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The picture shows a well-stocked bookcase filled with non-fiction books and a secret compartment. The key is in the lock and the chamber has been rotated to expose the selection of glasses, a bucket filled with ice cubes, a shot glass and the only bourbon worth hiding, Kentucky Tavern. Carved into the shelf are the words “Dividend at Dusk” and the headline across the top of the ad has the familiar claim “The Aristocrat of Bonds…” and the wartime plea, “There’s only one better buy in Bonds…Victory Bonds“.
