Hunter Whiskey Ad 1953Full color 10″ x 13″ ad that shows a bottle of Hunter Whiskey, a glass filled with a mixed drink and a model ship in a framed glass box. The ad headline describes it as “Outstanding for Excellence” and further says that “This exquisite ebony and satinwood ship model, made for the British Admiralty in 1800, was used as the working pattern for the full-sized Brig “The Snow”. Each of it’s thousands of parts is in exact scale. Pulleys, blocks, winches, yards and sheets – and even the tiny compass in the binnacle – all function perfectly, One of the very few Admiralty models still in existence, it is a priceless heritage – truly outstanding for its excellence”. The claim is made that Hunter has been unsurpassed for 93 years”.
