Description

Sandeman Ad 1937Black and white 4 1/2″ x 13″ ad for their Sherries and Ports. This ad proudly discusses the difference between their products and everything else on the market and, as the headline says, “The difference is obvious when it’s Sandeman!”. The text talks about the six generations of the Sandeman Family that has produced great wines for European Kings and Princes and they have mastered the “ancient art” which has allowed them to produce the best available. It implies that no words can convince someone of how good this product can be as well as actually serving a Sandeman during your cocktail hour. This product, produced and bottled in Spain and Portugal, is said to be available at “better restaurants and clubs”.
