Bel Air Convertible – Full color Two-Page 20″ x 14″ ad for this car that everyone wants. The ad shows a Green and White Convertible being used in a movie scene that has attracted a crowd of quite a few different types of people. Watching the filming of a young couple kissing in the front seat are a sailor and a cowboy as well as the normal crew. The director seems like he is slapping his forehead in dismay as the couple embrace away. The ad headline orders “youth, beauty, Chevrolet, action!” and the text claims that once you have sampled this blockbuster of a car, you won’t want to drive anything else. Both pages of this ad are larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
