Description

Kellogg's Ad May 1941Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. The ad headline says “The Self-Starter Breakfast is the right take-off for me!” over a picture of Dorothy Ring, a U.S. Civilian Flying Instructress at Sky Harbor, Northbrook, Ill. There is also a picture of a businessman getting set to board a train and a nurse at work, both agreeing about the importance of a good breakfast, like Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
