Description

Carnation Ad 1944Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Irradiated Unsweetened Evaporated Milk. There is a cute picture of a father with an adoring look on his face changing his baby’s diaper while on his lap. The headline introduces the “Secrets of a Pin-Up Girl…” and the text talks about how important for any child to get all of the vitamins available in Carnation. It states that most doctors will encourage parents, especially during the wartime when whole milk was so hard to get, to make their baby’s formula from Carnation.
