Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Manhandlers and tells us that “Campbell’s Beef Soup is one of them”. A bowl of this along with a piece of Peach Pie and a cup full of pretzels are shown sitting on a table, waiting for you. The text talks about this being for a “man-sized hunger” and claims that it has “almost more barley and beef than soup”. Shown in the ad are cans of their six different choices at the time: Beef Soup, Cream of Potato, Chicken Gumbo, Clam Chowder, Bean with Bacon and Scotch Broth.
