Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is for Campbell’s V-8 Cocktail Vegetable Juices. This ad has a drawing of a can of this juice next to a cocktail holder filled with the juice, and labeled V-8, in front of celery, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes and any other kind of vegetables that Campbell could put into the drink. The letters say that it “outflavors any single juice”. It then says that “Here’s one of Summer’s most welcome sights…a deep, chilled pitcherful of refreshing V-8! Give it a few minutes in the refrigerator till the frost forms and the color sparkles, and it almost seems to say: “Now I’m nice and cool! Drink me down!”. Lively and fresh tasting…8 juices deep…V-8 outflavors any single juice. Vital statistics on V-8 Vegetable Juices: fewer calories than fruit juices…important vitamins and minerals…choice of four sizes, from the individual 6-ounce can to the thirsty family’s 46 ouncer”.
