Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for their Golden Vanilla Ice Cream. There is a picture with a heaping bowl of this ice cream in the foreground next to a half gallon package of the product. On the box is a picture of a lady looking like she belongs in the 1890’s dipping her spoon into a bowl while behind the box is this same lady taking a dainty spoonful away from the bowl. The ad headline claims that “Borden’s Golden Vanilla brings back golden memories” and the ad talks about the old-time flavor and color that has been recreated by Borden’s and invites the readers to “Come see Elsie at the World’s Fair”. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
