Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for their Cold Cream. There is an endearing picture of a Martha Price who, as the text explains, is betrothed to Air Corps Officer Thomas Liston. The caption under the picture of her mentions some of the attributes that make her attractive. Some of these may have been brought about by her using Pond’s Cold Cream every night and every morning but other features they mention had more to do with the good genes of her parents. The text gives further information on how to properly use Pond’s and mentions other, famous women who use it and the ad has another, smaller picture of her doing her War Work which was working one day each week as a Child Care Aid working with young children while their mothers, so many of them, performed the jobs that were necessary for the production of the multitude of items needed for the war effort.
