The ad headline claims that “She brought brilliance to the Nation’s Capital” and the ad mentions other things she helped to do during the time she was First Lady. The ad text, in part, proclaims that “It is Avon’s privilege to serve you and every busy American woman with cosmetics that help you achieve this inspiring and gracious loveliness.”. This is another of the wartime ads dedicated to the hard-working American woman. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
