Description
Full color 10″ x 13″ wartime ad has a drawing of a lady looking at a painting of Lydia Darragh, a heroine of the Revolutionary War. The ad headline is “Courage…Your Heritage” and the ad talks about the important part that women are doing to help win the war. The ad text, talking about the Avon representatives says that “Hers is the timely and patriotic mission of leaving with you cosmetics which help give you new and inspiring beauty”. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
