Description
Three color 9 3/4″ x 13″ ad for Chesterfield Cigarettes. The ad has a picture of Arthur, dressed as Santa Claus holding a stocking filled with Chesterfield cigarettes while holding another carton. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is for Chesterfield Cigarettes. This ad is the same as the previous one, just in Full Color rather than three-color. This ad starts off with a “Sock ’em with a Load of Good Cheer” headline at the top, just over a picture of Arthur Godfrey dressed up as Santa Claus, holding up a bag filled with Chesterfield cartons and holding another carton up so that the “Always Buy Chesterfield“ portion of the label is easy to read. The ad then says to “Give ’em by the Carton! Give ’em to everyone who smokes – the family, the neighbors, your friends – everyone who’s been good to you all year. Chesterfields are the best tip I can give you at Christmas time or any time. When you give Chesterfields you sock ’em with a load of good cheer.“.
